DIY's Installed

Got them in around 11.30 last night. Had a few problems such as a nozzle bursting but got it fixed and all is well. It didnt make that much of a difference on my truck and I was thinking its due to the superchip on my truck. If thats the case then who has the best tune to go with for these injectors? Cause I'm ready to roll some real coal.

Ryan

on another note, i have read a bunch of times that if you install a HPOP from a 99-03 7.3L it will provide adequate high pressure oil to make them injectors pump out the fuel!!! (and COAL)

Nozzle bursting?? Did chunks of nozzle go into the engine? Please explain, I'm considering doing DIY's in the future and want to avoid possible problems

Thanks

The nozzle bursted while the injector was on the bench. The only thing I can figure is the nozzle was bad to begin with. As for the DIY kit, it was complete with everything you need plus detailed instructions. I am happy with them but I will tell you this, dump your superchips tuner and get you a tony wildman chip. I have a superchip on my truck and it doesnt give me the performance gains with these injectors that everyone gets with the tony wildman chip. It does lay a nice cloud of smoke and run good but no where near what it should.

I really love Tony's high tow tune. I made 305/606 with it.
