Pulling a fifth wheel trailer with my truck?

Alright, I put a baja rack on my truck. Now I want to buy a toy hauler and I'm wondering if I can pull a fifth wheel with this rack, and not have any issues with the corners hitting the uprights. They go almost to where the middle stake pocket would be at about a 40 degree angle up. I'll try to post pics.

I'd have a tendency to say, "No" or "it will be close." One way to check would be to back up along side the TH you are looking at so that the King Pin of the trailer is slightly forward of your axle (that's usually where the 5th wheel hitch will place it). It may depend on the trailer's front cap design.

Another option: How often would you tow? How hard is it to remove the rack?

You will hit. Take the Baja rack off. Go get the toy box. Put the rack back on hook the Toy box back up modify the down bars to allow for the necessary clearance.

I was trying not to modify anything. Bumper pull is still an option. But I've heard opposing stories of whether or not it will work when I turn with the fifth wheel toy hauler. Weekend warrior or something like that.

And in my dreams I'd be using this thing every week, but more likely once or twice a month. The rack is not easy to move. All the lights and everything are hardwired. It'd be too much of a headache every time.
