Diesel additive
I've read a lot on running diesel additives for these OBS trucks, and I want to order some so I can get started running it. I just want to know what everyone is running. Pros and cons of different brands? Which one do you think is best to use? Thanks in advance!

I run 2cycle oil from wally world at 200:1 ratio or 0.64 ounces/gallon. It bumps it up about 1mpg. Diesel power did an article last year and the opti-lube xpd and the FPPF+8 Cetane improver did equally well. IMO biodiesel is the best additive. I get at least 1mpg all the time on it and sometimes more.

Stanadyne, the blue label bottle. Little hard to find, but its been worth at least +2 mpg when I started running it. I'm religious bout it now, 1/4 bottle per tank every fill up.

Been running Power Service, AKA Diesel Kleen.
Averaging 17.5mpg, got 18.45 last fillup. And like said above, White Bottle in Winter, Grey Bottle in Summer... And 911 for when you get bad fuel!

That's great. Thanks guys. I've heard a lot of good things about stanadyne, so I think I'm going to give it a shot. But there's only one place around here that carries it and it's in BFE.
