Does anyone know what model garrett turbo came stock in a 1996 F350? Main reason I'd like to know is so I can find and buy a rebuild kit for mine. Also I was wondering if I was to change out the turbo housing which one would be better? the 1.0 or .84 housing? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I wanna say they came with the GTP-38 or TP-38 not sure which one to be exact. I have a 1.0ar on my truck now with stock injectors it spools nice and i can still tow heavy loads and see maybe 1200 egt's when towing my car trailer. And the .84 is gonna spool real quick but its gonna get hot fast when u tow if u plan on towing. I got my rebuild kit and a turbo from this guy real cool to work with.
