1997 F350 4x4, Worth what hes asking?

Looking at a 1997 F350 4wd auto with 160k regular cab long bed. Has 285/75r16s on it decent tread. Bodies in decent shape. Guys said it has a new tranny with 100k warranty. Has a edge tune on it too. Dont no much else about it. Hes askin 7,000$ obo.

Anything i should check for when i go to see it again?

Thanks!

I think that's a little steep for xl model even of it's low on rust. Definitely start offering at 5000. For the 3000 in Cali that worth your while. Look up north. I'm in pa and have seen some good ones for for around $3000. There's a cclb 4x4 auo in new Hampshire for $3000 right now.

If trucks up north didn't rust so often I would look north, but I only look in southern states for that reason
