Powerstroke engine....But from what??

I just scored this engine from a friend cleaning up a shop, he was told it was running when he got it, but was never told what it was from. Just by looking at the IPR I can tell its a 95 or earlier... Ive never seen a fuel filter bowl sticking up so high above the valley. I bought it mainly for spare parts, but I don't even know what will interchange with my 97.
You guys have any ideas? It seems that everything is there except for the turbo and the valve cover.

Hm....I guess that makes sense having everything being blue..haha Do you know if anything interchanges or if it is even worth anything then?

Pretty much everything should interchange. Its the same thing as our 7.3's, just different accessories and some other minor differences. I bought a 99 bus motor and have robbed a bunch of parts off of it, and we are talking about swapping it into my truck. Right now its in the corner of the shop at my brothers on an engine stand. Been there for a couple months

Oil cooler and driver side manifold are different compared to an OBS, (found out the hard way lol. Hpop,IPR, and such interchange, I'm thinking the oil pan is different.

I have one to pick up that has a crack in the #6 wall. I'll be unbolting everything possible and scrapping the block.
