Planning to build an OBS

I'm about to get reg cab or extended cab OBS zf5 to build up right now i'm planning to do all the standard engine mods and now im looking at how I want to set up the suspension.

Right now im looking to do the D60 swap up front but I want to run 3.0 RadFlo CO's and radius arms. For the rear i'm looking at a 10.25. I'm thinking about getting the axles from a 99-04 SD and throwing on the dynatrac free spin, 4.30s, and a tru trac.

For wheels and tires im looking at trail worthy fab recentered humvee wheels and military tires. The wheels will have a 3.5" BS.

How does this sounds?

That sounds like it's going to end up being a real nice truck! Start posting pics when you get this peoject going. Are you going to to swap a d60 out of a non obs? If not you won't be able to rotate your tires.

I'm looking for a wrecked f350 SD I can pull the axles out of so the bolt patterns, axle width, and all that jazz is the same. I'll know more by early to mid June when the insurance company cuts my check for my stolen truck.

Will the wheels be modded to have the SD bolt pattern, or are you planning on modding the hubs to 8x6.5?

If you plan on CO/radius arm, why not use 05+ axles?

Yeah trail worthy fab can basically do what ever you want to humvee wheels. The reason for going with 99-04 SD axles is so I can clear the 16.5" rims.

Oh I get it now. The 05+ need 17 or larger rims to clear the brakes
