smaller turbo housing

I was looking on ebay and other places to get a smaller housing like a 1.00 i found a guy who has a banks quick spool exhaust housing. Stupid question time.... I would get that and put it on, would it do really anything? or would i need the smaller turbo housing to make it work?

Thanks

no .... if you have any designs on doing bigger injectors, don't do it...the smaller exhaust side will allow the turbo to spool a bit faster, but will limit the flow OUT of, which in turn limits the flow THRU the turbo..... I did exactly what you're talking about, and was very disappointed.....
