injecter question

im taking out my injecters and i cant get the 8mm retaining bold off the top of the injecter. 8mm wrench seems a little loose. what should i do?

alright well i figured that out. but how do i get the passenger rear injecter out? it hits on some plastic box. any help would be greatly apreciated.

take the top of the injector off, 4 torx screws

I just pulled that plastic box (not sure of the exact name) off the side of the heater box, it was held on by like 3 screws. With that propped off to the side I was able to work the old injector out and the new one in.

Just pray you don't have any stuck glow plugs, my #7 glow plug was stuck (#7 is the one on the passenger side in the rear, aka the biggest PITA to get to), which made it a huge pain to purge the oil from the cylinder, because if I just tried to blow the oil through the injector hole, more just got pumped in from the oil coming through the heads to fire the injector. I ended up just letting it sit for 24 hours to let the oil seep past the rings, and it worked.
