GPR how long should it last?

I have had it in my truck for less than 10k miles and the dang thing is already gone. Turn the key on and the gage never drops like it does when the relay cuts on. Does anydody have any pics of the Stancor mounted in factory location.

this is one way but you can turn it the other way to just whatever is easier depending on how long your wires are...i was goin to mount mine the other way

your GP's can stay on as long as two minutes depending on outside air temperature.

as far as a stancor, i researched it quite a bit and found that heat and vibration can affect the longevity of any relay. I relocated mine off-engine, and added a fuse to the feed line. There are more pictures of how I did mine in the link in my sig

Thanks guys I appreciate the info. I wasn't sure if I would have enough room with the Banks pipes. Looks good though. Ianstew looks good not sure if I'm that confident in my wiring ability yet.
