Just bought an OBS

Just picked up with 1996 f-350. It only has 68,000miles on it. Its been a plow truck its whole life. Overall the truck is in good shape. The underside does have some rust but nothing to major. I paid 6,500 for the truck and plow. Paid an xtra 300 to keep the light bar and back rack. So how did i do on price?? I think its a good deal but I'm not to sure what these OBS go for.

In the last 1,000 miles. It had an oil+filter change, fuel filters change, new brakes all the way around. On the front brakes new rotors and calipers, new shocks. The only thing that doesn't work is the A/C. Oh it will need glow plugs before winter i was told. But it starts right up and runs fine and shifts smooth as can be.

I think you did well. I just bought a 1997 f-350 xlt that also has been a plow truck it's whole life it was fine mechanically but it needs a new box and both front fenders and a drivers side cab corner. You got a good deal forsure

Thanks guys. I think i did ok with the prices. Just wasn't 100% sure.

One quick question. I owned an 96OBS about 7 years ago but it was an XL so it didn't have Cruise control. This one is an XLT. The CC works but there is not light on the dash or anywhere that comes on. Is there one from the factory and maybe the bulb or something is burnt out??
