Sadly, another OBS off the road

We were headed down the highway when the white truck pulled out in front of us. Couldnt stop in time, was in the brakes then realized that was only going to make it worse. Almost dodged him, if I hadnt been in the brakes at all we probably would have missed him. We were going about 60 give or take around impact. Mothers day was great until this point, we got all the celebration in though! Luckily family was behind us and stopped to take the wife and our daughter home.

Everyone is ok, wife is bruised, youngest (3) was with us but sleeping. She was on the impact side unfortunatly. She is fine, just woke up to the jolt was all. The other guy hurt his side but appeard ok.

most upsetting was that i had jsut finished my electric conversion and wvo. i got 1130 miles on the new wvo conversion, a 105 gallon tank i had just filled along with a full rear tank of diesel. the force poped the cover on my marinco, and emptied my wallet sitting next to me. glad we were in the truck and not the car too. we really want a crew cab 4x4, sad way to go look for one. bad timing right now.

Sorry to hear about the ride, but relieved to hear everyone's ok.

Folks ask me why I haven't traded my truck in for something smaller, and its because of stories like this.

OMG!!! I am glad you guys are ok. That truck got messed up. Glad you were in this and not the car. you would be toast if the car took that hit. Good luck on the new truck. Collect all the parts for the new one and come here and we will install it all

A smart car swerved, hit a curb, and tore off its bumper the other day to avoid cuttin me off, aka becoming a hood ornament

Dang dude, sorry to hear it, but glad to hear that everyone made it out more or less OK. Your pickup will have good company in PSD heaven, I totaled my 96 F350 on 4/17/11, one day after it dyno'ed 208hp on stock tuning. I don't want to steal your thunder, but I can post pics of my carnage too if anyone hasn't seen them yet.
Hopefully you had full coverage on the 'ol girl? My insurance company treated me well on mine, I'm buying a 97 F350 CCLB 4x4 5 speed with 152k miles to replace it. You're a long ways away but there are quite a few decent crew cabs for sale up here in the NW.
