i woudl say this is nearly impossible to answer given conditions, number of starts, winter temps, etc. shooting from the hip, i would say 3 to 4 years?

Thinking pro-active I just changed my Power Steering Pump out last weekend cuz 170,000 miles I just didn't want to have it fail on the road this summer pulling my Travel Trailer or Boat. Now, the starter is original aswell so I guess that will be completed soon.

Whats' a good Starter upgrade from OEM and why?

Mine finally started sounding weak at 16 years/190,000 miles. Replaced it with a DB starter...best money I ever spent.
