There are a few things to look for when buying one. Like any normal trck you want to look feel the tranny. How does it shift? Any clunks? check all the seals. Look for any oil leaks etc. If you live in the rust belt, check brake lines and the rear fuel tank. How does the turbo spool up? If your serious undo the rubber boot around the turbo and look for any signs of dirt or debris inside it. If the fins of the trbo look (sandblasted) the air intake is letting in too much small particles. How does the engine start? Does it smoke apon start. Does it sound smooth or does it idle rough?
