Block Heater wattage

Is the stock block heater 750 or 1000 watts?
Looks like the heater is similar to / or is a Kim Hotstart
Hotstart lists 2 heaters;TF752-002, 750 watt or DD8L-102, 1000 watt.
The 'F' in the part number suggests that is a Ford specific part.
T444E lists only the 1000 watt heater

Thumbs up

Block heater is 720 watts.
Got electrician neighbor to put his clamp on ammeter on block heater...
It pulls 5.8 amps, at the end of 25 foot extension cord.

I was told by the Ford tech hotline that it was 1000 watts and that it should draw about 8 amps.
