Question about intercooler

Hello all.

Hey I got a guy wanting me to give him an offer on a 1999 7.3 Intercooler and plumbing?

What do you guys think? I don't want to low ball him but would like to get the best deal possible? He is asking 850$ for the whole engine (hairline crack in block).

Just curious what you all thought it might be worth?

Thanks for your input.

I see alot of stock SD IC going for about $100, and I had to pay $425 for my Banks pipes. You would need an early 99 intake spider, and the intercooler pipes would have to be modified to fit your 97. It's not a bolt on deal.

100$ not bad. I can't seem to remember or find on here what you need to do to modify the intercooler pipes to make them fit?

I have access and can modify the pipes when it came time to.

As for the spider I will have to double check on that.

Thanks Gruss.

You will need the IC, H&C pipes, spider, pedestal, and the turbo would be a nice upgrade to you OBS as well... Offer him $750 for the whole motor, part it out and you should get your money back. Then the whole setup would be FREE

Can you use SD turbo with the fuel filter set up of an OBS?
