Looks like a stock axle with an 08+ differential cover.

What axle was stock for a 95 OBS?? My last truck was a 95 as well and this axle looks totally different. I do know that this truck was a late 95, the last truck was an early 95 and some parts actually had to use 94 parts.

I'm curious as to what the other axle looked like. The one in your new truck looks like the one that was in my 95.

the OBS trucks came with the Sterling 10.25 in rear. The SD went with a 10.5 in rear. What you have looks like a normal Sterling rear with a newer cover

I believe it's a stock 08+ cover. They will bolt right on.

I agree. I have a 08 diff cover in my hand right now and it's identical. Mine has a ford symbol beside the bottom left bolt.
