Rear fuel tank vent

I for whatever reason pulled the inner hose out of the filler neck when I put the new rear tank. Now I can't get the tank to take fuel.

Is there anything else I can do or do I just need to get the inner hose back in?

Well that sucks.

Will the hose hold itself on the filler neck? I doubt I'll be able to put it back on with the clamp on it.
