Auto Computer Exchange

I just wanted to make everyone aware of my experience with Auto Computer Exchange out of Florida. I ordered a refurbished IDM on a Monday and received it on Thursday as expected. Hooked it up and it was only firing the driver side cylinders. We contacted them and they shipped us another and we received it the following Tuesday. Hooked it up and it was only firing the passenger side cylinders. I guess if I could hook them both up at once, I could get all 8 to fire So we called them and sent back both today and ordered a modified one from Swamps. On top of everything so far, they charged us an extra 420 on a seperate charge and gave us a hard time about getting it removed... We had to dispute the charge through the credit card company. After looking over both IDMs they seemed to have never been opened, like the factory seal had never been tampered with. I don't believe either IDM was ever open and refurbished.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with this company. I really do not recommend doing business with them.

Auto Computer Exchange

This Company is a total rip off company out of Florida - all they want is your money. DO NOT BUY ANY COMPUTER OR FICM MODULE FROM THEM. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND.

Been here, burned by them. Never again. A Lot of times the IDM or PCM will have just melted a soldered connection. There is a guy locally that will take popped PCMs and whatnot and just install a new resistor. These things are really not that complicated.

Bought a "refurbished" IDM from them for my SD. A couple years later I was getting a P1316 code again. Modded a OBS IDM and threw it in, truck never ran so good in the five years I owned it.
