I will soon be ordering a sender for a b&m gauge there are three posts on the back i know one is ground and one is the wire for the sender but what is the third?
Also wht is normal running temp for a 1996 f350?
is the pressure port on the trans a good place for the sender?
off topic question... when i plug my fog lights up they don't light up. but when i press one wire to the battery and use a test light the complete the circuit the test light lights up is this right?

the third contact would be for the light
temps will depend on the condition of the trans but anything over 180 could get ugly
on the a4od the proper place for the sender is in the pressure check port on the drivers side just above the front corner of the pan.
are the light sockets corroded?
