Auto shift linkage

I have 02 that I use to plow snow with and this year has been super busy working almost every week so my shift linkage has been getting a lot of use. and right now i have ton of slack in the linkage is seems when its in part it will move back in forth almost to neutral. To start the truck right now i have to push up on my shift lever so the truck will start. Wondering if there is a way that i can adjust the linkage.
