EBPV Butterfly removed....
Now to plug the hole....
I dont have a tap, nore do I have a plug. So in a whisp of wondering how to overcome my new obsticle, I had a thought ![]() Plug the shaft hole with a bolt tightened as tight as I could get it and the peened the bolt over the nut to ensure not losing the nut, then took a chisle and cut the nut over into the bolt for extra insurance. Bad idea? |

Are you talking about the hole where the butterfly shaft was? Why not use a small freeze plug?

That would work also, I just needed to get the truck together yesterday and was wondering if anyone had ever just plugged it with a bolt and had a bad experience lol

I think a bolt would get you by, just slop on some high temp silicone in the hole to help seal around the bolt
