96 and 97 computers

can anyone tell me if i can use a 96 computer on a 97 engine and what would be the difference i bought a chassis from a friend but he only found the injector drive computer so i was wondering when i put my cab on if im going to run into problems also im missing the abs computer ,, i herd one difference is with the cam positioning sensor runs off a digital signal in 97 instead of analog in 96? thanks dustin
