died today goin down the road HELP!!!

truck acted like it rain out of fuel goin down the road. was runnin fine till i stopped at a stop light and started sputterin. thought it was just a hiccup so i kept goin and got worse so i pulled over and it shut off. tried startin back up just sputtered. its gettin fuel to the bowl. i know the pump in top of the motor has been leakin. could that be the culprit????

Was it sputter like fuel issues or like it ed totally cutting out and back in? May Ne a long shot, but common problem and easy fix is the cam position sensor. Search and you'll find lots of info on them. Just an idea

sputter like fuel. ive had another powerstroke run out of ufel before and it was just like this. but i just filled up like 2 hours before if happened. called gas station and no reported fuel issues. but im thinkkin somehow go air in the lines? im hopin its the pump tho so i can get my beans diesel fuel kit

our truck acted kinda like that when the idm went out, i could be wrong

2001 f250 lariat 7.3 3.73 rear end 4" exaust with muffler-5"tip eagle alloy rims with 305/70 firesteone at, superchips programmer

2002 dodge durango slt+ 4.7v8 flowmaster super 10, intake, ho cams ,superchips programmer, trying to trade it for a diesel

This is gonna sound stooopid, but did you check the oil level @ the dipstick? If you run too low the hpop can't do it's thing and you'll experience what you describe. I know, it happened to me. Added some oil and all was well.

94.5 PSD Dually Crewcab F-350. Uglee, stock and reliable.

came up with codes p0344 and p1280. replaced the cps(0344( and the icp sensor(1280). didnt change. mechanic thinks the computer is fried. looks like ill be takin it to the stealership tomorow
