Quick question 96 F250.




Possibly looking at a 96 OBS and it has this. No idea what this may be. I was thinking maybe a brake controller but it has one under the steering wheel.

That is a PTO/High idle set up. That was an option for the 99+ Super Duty but wasn't aware you could get it for the OBS

I'm sure you could. Most guys put a custom tuned chip in with a high idle setting which doesn't take up any space.

Thats an AIC. Its better than just high idle on a tuner because you can set multiple high idle settings, put it in charge protect mode, and it has a digital volt meter so you can see how many volts you are putting out. I'll take if it you don't want it.
