6 speed taking off, Help?

Ok guys I cam from the cummins world and I knew takin off you didnt have to give it any throttle takin off from 1st in 2nd. So I got my PSD thinkn the same and even in L (1 of 6) I got to give it some decent throttle so she dosen't stall. So basically what am sayin is you got to drive it like a gas truck compared to driving a traditional diesel truck with a stick.

Thanks guys any suggestions about if I got a problem or if it is completely normal, maybe any ways to fix/change this.

if i put mine in low (granny gear) i dont have to give it ANY throttle to roll up the driveway. 1st gear will sputter a tad but wont stall, 2nd does need a little bit of pedal behind it

Find a small down hill run and see if it will run down hill by itself. If not you could have brake, bearing etc... issue. However if it was the brakes I would think you would have smelled it by now
