Ford vs. Dodge vs. Chevy

How does the 7.3L Powerstroke match up against the Dodge and Chevy diesel offerings in big pickups? Any info on torque, horsepower, and reliability is valuable.

Pretty broad question. You asked this in the obs sections so i'll compare those years. Fords and dodges are both reliable, but the gm 6.5 pretty much sucked. Also the 6.5 was at the bottom of hp and tq aswell. I can afford pretty much any brand and year of pickup i want to drive and i chose the obs powerstrokes. I now have 2 of them one bone stock and one thats no where near stock. My first psd never let me down til i got crazy with the mods and broke the engine, but it still had 225k miles on it too so thats not to bad. My "new" one has 156k on it and should last me a long long time since its gonna stay stock.

You're right, it is pretty broad, and, add to that, I posted this in the wrong section! Sorry 'bout that. I have a 2000. I was just wondering how that year's models compared. I'll go put this into the correct section.
