Regular-extended cab?
So I have been curious what it would look like if you swapped an extended cab onto a regular cab's frame and shortened the box up. I like the look of an extended cab short bed but there are a lot of regular cabs around and I used to have one. I decided to do a little "Paint" photoshop lol. Thanks to who's ever truck I am using. There actually used to be a dog in this photo too.

The blacks were way off so since it was dirty I just threw in a lot of color. You get the idea though. The wheel base is about 6 inches shorter than the extended short bed so the bed would be 6 inches shorter too?

Well I sold my 95 standard cab a while back, and I am looking at getting a different one soon. If I can't find an extended cab short bed, this will be on my list. Btw I used to have a 95 f250 with a 5.8 5 speed and a 6in lift, but I am looking for a powerstroke now and I can't afford a 99+.

Wasn't there a thread around here some where where a guy did EXACTLY what your talking about?
I saw it with my own eyes now where was it........It looked slick, if you've got the notion and time as well as money. Go For It |
