BWD brand CPS - any good?
Truck started missing and dying. Replaced the CPS with a BWD brand that I bought several months ago and threw in the glove box. I do not remember where I purchased this CPS. NAPA maybe? Got nothing when turning the ignition until I slapped the starter solenoid with a screwdriver handle then started and seems to be running fine so I guess I'll be replacing the starter solenoid too.
I remember reading in some posts a while back that some CPS function better than others (black, grey, blue, purple?). Which one is the best to buy for a '95 PSD for a spare?...or should I buy a better one and put the BWD brand in the glove box as a spare?
