Truck Pull
Whats going on guys? There is a 2003 cummins in my town, with a smarty and edge stacked chips whos out challenging everyone to a truck pull. He keeps challenging me to go against him so i finally agreed. I have a 95 F350 single cab dually with an edge chip, intake, and exhaust. I know im prob going to loose but is there anything i can do to put up a fight? and to note a 97 F350 7.3 crew cab SRW went against the same cummins with a granite slab and beat this guy and that 7.3 is completely stock.

From what Ive seen the key is too not let the tires lose traction and spin. You 4wd? Is he?

it's all about the weight brother. heres my experience with this....... i put my 06 2500 cummins (afe filter, 4" turbo back exhaust with only a resonator, thats it) up against a 08 duramax, 97 1 ton ford steel flatbed with 200gal diesel tank (full) a 3' wide excavator bucket all on the bed, and a 1980 chevy 1 ton with a built 454 and 10" lift (bad a$$ truck) all in the same night and beat them all. i know the ford out weighed me but... my dodge is a crew cab with an 8' bed. guess the cummins is a good one. but here is where it gets interesting the next night i went up against a 1979 1 ton chevy old raged out 350 steel flatbed a bundle of slab wood and a plow waaaayyyy out front, that old raggedy truck yanked the sh$% out of me all these pulls where on dry pavement and we went 3 times against each truck the 79 won all 3 times. soooo.... load up the bed my friend and good luck!!!!!!! keep us posted oh almost forgot maybe let some air out of the tires? a couple of bigger guys up front may help
