does anybody make the smoked black effect lens for our trucks

No, you either have to do it yourself, or buy a set of lights for a different truck (3rd gen ram trucks are the most popular for this)

What about putco? I am looking on buying the smoked lens and the amber lights from them. I heard you cannot put an led light in there it is against the law is this true?

Ive never seen anything from putco, and you can use LED's anywhere

Okay sorry I thought this was the 02 forum my fault. I have an 02 truck and putco said the led lights are illegal due to towing. Either orange or amber and that is it.

well yeah, they have to be those color's but you can use LED's
