It doesnt seem like the CPS, when you say cut off is it like you just turned the key off? or does it stumble a bit?

Yes, just as if you turned the key off and on as quick possible.A small hiccup and begins to purr as usual.Fresh oil and fuel filters,as I said it has happened twice and I thought it at first maybe the ignition switch could have been have way in the on and off position, but I can't duplicate it by hand so i ruled that out.The last time it did stumble a bit after the intial miss, but cleared with in seconds

Mine will do that if I goose it, lift and goose it again on old oil. I just change the oil and it goes away

I agree it must be an electrical but it it is alarming when it happens and always restarts without any problems.I did get a chance to clean and inspect engine and all wiring connections ,I noticed I have a black CPS and not the gray one I have read about on this forum, could it be my problem?I mean this truck with 97 k runs like a top, smooth idle, good response thru out.But any way I will replace the CPS with newer version and see what happens. Thanks for the help!!
