HPOP reservoir

I have a opportunity to get some parts from a 96-97 7.3. Can the HPOP reservoir be swapped easily? Thinking of picking up the reservoir so I can easily swap the HPOP without worrying about drain back issues.

Swapping into my 95. Don't have a drain back issue yet, but I would if I put a newer style HPOP in. IIRC there is something called an edge filter in the HPOP or the IPR that is different between the 94-95 and 96+ motors. I know Joey at TE can swap the HPOP housings, but was thinking it might be easier not having to do that.
