blue transmission

as in a previous post i metioned i just bought a 95 250 powerstroke.

tonight i discovered the transmission is blue. is this an aftermarket transmission any one knows of? i know some companies have purple and red transmission but blue? ive never seen a blue stock transmission in any of these powerstrokes. and i cant imagine why someone would take the time to paint it blue even if they had it down to rebuild. any ideas?

some rebuilders will use different colors to identify the person who did the overhaul.If they have a comeback.It becomes real easy
