DRW Swap

Guys I want a CC DRW OBS 4x4, but as I have found out they werent even made. So my question for you guys is how hard is it to do a SRW swap to a DRW. Is it as simple as swapping the suspension and axle out and wholah done. Or am I looking at a huge project. I dont absolutely need 4x4, so would I be better off maybe just getting a dually?

Just swap rear axle if it's already an F-350 . Bolt on front adapters , dually wheels and done . Also there are bolt on kits out there that don't call for an axle change .

Go with the 4x4 , these long wheel based trucks love to get stuck , even on wet grass .

use the 4wd dodge front adapters, less then $100 on ebay, find you a bed you dont want to use the cheap aftermarket bolt on fenders, you can find a bed for under $500 and find a dually rear axle, I just picked one up at my local pick n pull for a friend for $125. and your done.

Absolutely they are horrible with getting stuck! The conversion isnt hard when going to DRW. I just converted a DRW to 4wd, and that was more involved then whats already discussed here.. very well worth it!

What are these things you have to bolt onto the front wheels? Will they bolt onto a 4x4 front end?
