Id say around 4000. Make sure the rust is rust and not rot. i.e.: its just rusty and not actual rot holes. Make sure it doesnt burn oil or anything. If it is all good running and a ok. Also Id ask him about the tranny, especially if it had a gn/5th wheel

Imo 4000 is too much for a rusty '96 2x4 with 200+ on the clock.

Hmm, well when he says rust Im thinking just fender and maybe rocker panel rust. Id honestly have to see the undercarriage. Thats where a lot of it counts.

Ive looked at the truck before and its not rot, just typicall rocker panel rust. undercarriage is typical of any mid 90's rig from N Ohio aint good but aint bad. and i agree I think for a 2x4 that isnt mint 4000 would be a bit to much for me personally. Good idea about the tranny though i forgot all about that, he does pull a big honkin boat with it. on the other hand though i know he grannys it everywhere since diesel is over 3 bucks a gallon
would $3000 be somethin i could get away with? Last edited by deerhuntindtackle57; 11-01-2010 at 09:01 PM. |
