Thanks alot guys!!!! Started a thread about my trailer. I started with a pickup 15 yrs ago, with a lincoln 250 welder, a torch, and a tool box. then I got a truck with an open contractors box on it. After that I bought a closed contractors box truck. I added 3 ft to the front of that to get more room. I didn't like it much because if you had to go after anything you had to wrap up all the cables, or anything else I had out. Next was a 28 ft enclosed trailer, it was alot better than the pickups, but still had limitations, mostly height. The mill was too tall for the 6' 6" inside height of the trailer. Finally I found this trailer on the internet, it was in Harker Heights, Texas. It took a little while to get the deal made on it. the place where I went to pick it up was very suprised to see me show up with my dually to pick it up. The salesman asked me "are you going to pull that trailer with that pickup", I looked him straight in the eyes & said D** Right, Its a FORD WITH A POWERSTROKE IN IT. IT WON'T EVEN KNOW IT WILL BE BEHIND IT.

Here are some early pictures, this is what I started with.

First it was a large open hole



This picture has my favorite helper in it.



The ceiling was the only thing in this trailer that was any color other than brown.



Next I gutted it & insulated the whole thing.

Looks good, but that is a HUGE trailer. I'd be afraid to hook that behind one of my F550s What's it weigh?

Hooked up to truck it weighs in at 34,860 full of fuel.

You gotta be pulling my leg!! You're pulling damn near 35k with a 1-ton?!?

I have an F-700 truck, but the f-250 converted dually pulls it better. there is only 7500 lbs of tonge weight on the truck, i also have the fifth wheel set 8" ahead of center of the rear axle. tis puts more weight on the steer axle. the trailer has 3, 12,000 lb axles with 12" X 4" brakes on them. actually it pulls very well, and stops very well also. I've had it to Texas & back twice behind the pickup. I can run with the big boys with it!!!!
