coolant additive

I just bought some vc8 coolant additive and how much do I ad and how do I know how much to add?

i have read that if its not a low silicate and you dump the vc 8 in your antifreeze will turn to sludge. i believe its regular napa antifreeze. does any one know if its low silicate or okay to put the vc 8 in?

I buy it at the ford dealership and have used it for years,no problems,every 6 months or so I dump in a few onces,it should have how to use it on the label.
