Fuel Line talk

Hello guys, just picked up a powerstroke a few weeks ago and it has been running great. Yesterday I installed a bully dog and put it on setting 1 and as soon as I hit the gas a little bit the truck starting acting funny and cut off. Tried starting it and nothing. Well I got out to pop the hood and waalaa theres a puddle of fuel/oil underneath the truck. Well long story short the right feed line for the rail busted. There was a hole in it where it just blew out. Anyone seen this happen before? I took the line to the ford dealer and he said it wasnt factory because it was a braided line. The left bank is braided as well and I just assumed that guy didnt know what he was talking about. Now I got a hydralic line made at the local haydens and it seems to be holding. Anyone know if its gonna hold up or know any where that sells them at a decent price and can get it quick? I was suppose to go to philly to pick up a truck today but I had to postpone it til thurs. I just dont want this line or another to come apart on me on the trip. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
