Low oil not enough fuel pressure
my friend who knows alot about psd's said that my oil is low and this can cause trouble in starting my truck due to not enough pressure to ignite the fuel or whatever. is this possible?

No.
It has nothing to do with igniting the fuel. Having no/low oil will cause the truck to not run period. The injectors are run off of oil pressure. So if you get no/low amounts of oil to the pump then your injectors are not going to work. If the pump is shot, the truck will run still but without as much power. Your friend knows enough about PSDs to mess something up.. lol |

basically ignore the "ignite fuel" part. By you saying having low amounts of oil will not let the truck run solved my questions. thanksss fren

No problem.
Your friend has my graces to work on PSDs again. lol I guess it could have something to do with igniting fuel. Because if the injectors don't get oil, then the engine doesn't get fuel. But as for making flame/combustion, nope. lol |
