tap size for gutting turbo pedastal

what size tap do i need tap the ebpv rod on my turbo pedastal? i looked in the mod section but the video write up wouldnt play. thanks

i dont think the vid shows the size,dangit! if ya hadnt a said nothin,i coudlda remembered!!!

i forgot what i used,do you have a set or are you gonna just buy one tap?

if you dont find out in time,just take the pedistal down to napa and let em show ya whicha one...look,a bit of advice,ima freak when it comes to getting the job done right the first time,so what i did when i got mine tapped out i used the oil pan sealant,thats right,the grey stuff that comes from ford to put you oil pan back on.gob that stuff on the bolt and thread it in there,then cover the bolt with it once you get the bolt in.

im just sayin this because once you get your turbo back on,you wont be able to get to it if it leaks...so off comes the turbo again if it leaks,way to much labor.so better to be safe then sorry...good luck

if you have it of just cut the barrel off and weld it up makes getting the back bolt easyer.

thanks for the info, i'll pill it off tomorrow and figure out the right size. i was maybe hoping a 1/4" npt tap would work so i could use a pipe style plug.
