WHISTLE???

ok so i have a 3" down pipe 4" exhaust tony wilman chip and diy intake, but no whistle on my 97 7.3L what gives?

Put on some stacks! I put 6's in my 95 and the first week I had them I kept looking in my rearview for the jet landing in my bed, haha. It sounds pretty wild and I absolutely love it.

yeah i was wondering the same thing....why dont i have a lot of whistle? ive got a 4" down pipe 4" exhaust with a big hoss muffler but that is it, afe stage 2 intake and tw chip and i just have a faint sound of it that is all...any reason why?

I don't even know if he's talking about whistle from the exhaust, or the compressor side of the turbo.

If you have the stock compressor wheel, this is why. 94-97 trucks came with a wicked wheel. They are loud.
