Ammo can OBS Powerstroke snorkel

Thought someone on here would like this. A little "neck" but works like a charm. I did'nt so much need a snorkel for going in water over the cab but to keep the fan spray off my filter under the hood. It's an old ammo can with a filter in it. Top on for mud over the bumper where the fan will get it. Top off for anything else. It's all sealed and seems to work good without starving me for air. Still get the same boost pressures and everything. The Heineken top is an untested prototype though. I have to cut the pipe lower so It doesn't look like an old green top hat way up there. Looks a little restrictive but we shall see.

Might want to put a bigger filter on it. AEM makes a long round filter that is a constant diameter at each end. It would be close to fitting in that box.

I think auto zone carries them.

I thought so too but the top is open on the filter too like an inward cone. It seems to work well. I'm always looking around for different stuff though, thanks.

Ive seen those filters. They make a bigger version thats the same design. They are made by Spectre if I remember correctly.
