i hate to ask this question

hey guys, ive looked all over for an answer to this question and i cant find it. What was the last year that everything was mechanical in the diesels instead of electrical?

94 was the last year. IDI with and with out turbos.

94.5 Powerstrokes.

Our 88 with a 90 idi engine in it always had a starting issue when cold.

however, a friends rebuilt 6.9 can start with out them cold or a short gp cycle.

Could be wiring. Ive already replaced all plugs and GPR. worked fine for some time till it started acting up again. Even got to the point to where we can manually toggle it to come on. Worked for sometime and now it doesnt. Plugs might be gone now.

and would and '86 6.9L be turbo or non
