Exclamation HOw do i no my Turbos going out?

So i think my turbo on my (Running) PSD is going bad, cuz it doesnt seem to have the same power...maybe it needs a rebuild?? idk

when i first got the truck 180 thou ago it purrreedd lol

Fuel filter changed?

On the turbo, look at the propeller and wiggle it to see if theres any play. And are the fins sharp or worn?

If theres a lot of play on the turbo, its worn and would need to be rebuilt or replaced. Far as i remember, the obs turbos are not ball bearing. Could be wrong on that.

Well thats wat we were thinking... but maybe i should try to find the code its throwing first. oh and CAlifornia no longer lets them Scan codes. (AUTOZONE) buncha BS :/

thats why i dont live in calli.

Yes that CEL might be the reason for no power. Also if the CEL is on, the engine will run at reduced power like its in safe mode to help its self.

hmmm... i need to find someone in cali with a scanner.. will a aftermarket Proggrammer scan?
