broke extension housing ZF5

i had a wierd vibration issue pop up a couple days agao it would shake like i was goin over rumble strips from 55-60 mph.

well i looked under the truck today after it magically went away and theres a 3/4" gap where the extension housing broke just after the trans mount on the crossmember all the way around. the transfercase is just resting on the skidplate right now. also, 3 of the 4 bolts holding the rear driveshaft on the flange to the T-case were finger tight....

wat caused this? bad u joint? loose driveshaft mounting? bangin gears broke it?
