water pump shot

im looking at a 1995 f350 powerstroke with 150145miles the water pump went on the guy like 1/2mile from the work site(i was behind him) this snapped the belt what kind of damage could be done to the truck and is it a good buy at 4000

i assume it didnt overheat? if not them i would assuem nothing mroe than belt slap damage, hoses, and anything esle in the belt area thats soft...

$4k isnt bad. is it ext. cab, crew, 4x4?

reg cab xlt and the body is mint. and no it didnt overheat. from what is see the belt just went around the pump and didnt swing all over

are the airbox bolts metal or plastic? the plastic was a recall, caused motor dusting. they should be metal unless he upgraded. other than that it sounds like a fair deal.

it has metal but i got the napa filter intake off the other truck i sold
