engine shuts off part II

well i tried to find the short that makes the eng. die when the hood or door is closed. last night i closed the hood so hard the truck would not start. waited till after work today truck started right up. just when i think i got it solved the problem goes away. what i need to do now is get better access to the fuse box, so what is the best way to get to the back of the box?
