Towing Mirrors
When I'm pulling my covered trailer I really need a little bit longer mirrors. I can't quite see down the side of the trailer. I have checked all my local trailer shops and they don't have any nice extendable mirrors. The only thing they can provide are the cheap looking strap on generic type. Does anyone know where I can find nice looking ones? Maybe post a link? Thanks

when I had my 95 the only thing I could get were the slip on cheap pos... so I suffered and went with out for almost 1 yr, and then I bought my 99
good luck finding anything unless you wanna switch mirror styles or use the slip on type |

Son of a gun. I was hoping I could find the nice plastic slip ons that my friend got for his 97 Dodge. They look good....Here's a link to what I want.

Awesome web site for towing mirrors! This fast reply stuff is tight. This is what I'm going to order: CTM-11000
I agree with you that these look kind of crapy, but they are the best of a bad situation. Thank you!! |

Buy a set of McKesh mirrors. They are very stable and don't vibrate. I just sold a set because my new truck has factory extable ones. I spent the extra $ and bought convex add-ons for both sides, which saved my butt more than once. You might try e-bay first. If you can't find any there you can pick up a set of new ones at McKesh Mirrors If you get some send me a PM and I'll provide you with some lessons I learned about them.

I must say that those Mckesh mirrors would get the job done. However, I really want more of a stock look to them. Quite frankly those huge strap on mirrors are butt ugly. Just my opinion.
The guys from CIPA e-mailed me a PDF file that has some really nice looking extensions. Can I attach a PDF file to this thread so you can all use it as a reference? Last edited by scottphillips88; 05-01-2007 at 08:44 AM. |

I saw a guy that had OEM Ford Trailering mirrors on his 1989 Ford and it looked AWESOME. Not sure how he had them affixed but it looked good.
