Do you actually use the steps? Are they just for looks? I have some nerf bars on my lifted Jeep and there so close to the body that you can't hardly put your foot on it. That's why I went with steps on my truck.
I use mine every time I get in and out. I bought them more for my wife who complained about having to climb in and out but now that they are on I can't imagine not having a step there. I guess she won that one - but I won't tell her that
The westin bars set back far enough to give you a really good step. One of these days I will get around to installing some grab handles for the little wife that will get me some more brownie points
I am just waiting until I get into trouble again.
